Go west!

Tomorrow we're heading to Boulder, CO for an annual conference on hazards and disasters. I'm really excited, because:

• It's the furthest west I've ever been
• It's my first time in Colorado
• It's my second time on a plane
• It's my first time staying in a hotel with a spa and golf course
• There are going to be a bunch of interesting people there
• Apparently DRC interns are a well-received bunch

I'm less excited to be leaving here at 5 A.M. And being on a plane for 5 hours. And unknown food.
But on the whole I'm pretty stoked.
